We love using wap sites in mobiles or cell phones .Wap sites are the sites which can be browsed only from mobile browsers as www.waptrick.com/,m.facebook.com, wap.google.com. These sites have capability to run only in mobile browsers although they might run on PC they might have different function and layouts. We love using this site in our cells but how better would it be if we could browse them from our PC in order to reduce cost for GPRS in our mobile. Is there any way to use them in our computer? Yes there is the way, we can browse the wap sites through our PC. It would be very helpful and easy as well as cost reduction. Suppose if we want to download any application from OVI store then if we use mobile it would cost a lot of time and money of our mobile it is easy if we do that from our PC browser.

 

To browse the mobile sites from browser all we need is Firefox you can download it from the Firefox homepage. After installing Firefox follow the following steps:

Step 1: Open the Firefox and go to http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/ and click on download for Firefox now install that and restart Firefox.

Step 2: Copy the code below 

Step 3: Now open the new notepad and paste the code copied.

Step 4: Now select save as and give it’s name user agent.xml

Step 5: Open Firefox select right click in menu bar and select customize you can see the sign of globe or earth like material select that and drag it to side of address bar and save it.(Only in new versions).

Step 6: Now select icon of user agent switcher you’ve just added(in new version of Firefox) or select tools user agent switcher(in old versions) and select User agent switcher Option

Step 7: Select Import and add the file user agent.xml which you’ve created in step 4

Step 8:  select ok

Step 9:Select your mobile from that icon and surf using you mobile.
